Why is there a version 1.0 behind this system? Well, its a prototype, and I am bound to need to improve on the system as time goes by.

Sorry about the pictures in my previous post, because it looks so small and unimpressive earlier on.

Above wallpaper is actually the completed manga series Hatsukoi Limited by Mizuki Kawashita.

Manga Comic Review System version 1.0

I think review systems should be as simple as possible, and not one bit simpler. Of course, in its simplicity we must be able to capture the essense of the review well.

Good traits
Description Bad Traits
 Description
Addictive
Just makes us wanting more!
Shallow storyline
The name describes it; there is no depth to the story.
Good storyline Makes our soul satisfied with a good read! Bad storyline We rather watch Sesame Street on TV.
Impressive art
Makes us go “WOAH!” when we open a page. Poor art
Stickman art aren’t the way to go people.
Easy to digest
Doesn’t give brain damage to us.
Too complicated
We wonder what hit us and what has  actually happened.
Fresh
Something really unique that has neverquite happened before in other mangas. Poor ending
I really hate a good story with a poor ending.
Delightfullycheeky
Fan service was done very well & appropriate. Too short
We thought we could go on further.
Great fights
Epic fights that make your day! Too long
It just goes on and on and on.
Deliciously romantic
There may be tears, but it is worth it! Cold Jokes
Goosebumps aren’t for me.
Inspiring
Makes us want to accomplish some great feat too! Cliche Too common amongst other manga comics.
Humorous
We rolled around the bed, laughing! Too much swearing
This isn’t a competition on swearing.
Great character development
Can’t help but fall in love with the characters. Poor fights
 It’s just boring.
Good twists
Unexpected happenings that shock us but makes us feel awed. Poor character development
We aren’t going to buy any character toys, wallpapers nor illustrations.
Balance strength For fighting genre; noone overpowers the other without reason or unrealistically. Imbalanced strength For fighting genre; someone is endued with god-like strength and is imbalanced!

This is just a nutshell of characteristics that will be included in the reviews.

There will only be two main components: Presentation and Storyline.

Presentation will focus on the elements of dynamic panelling, great artwork and overall aesthetic feel of the manga.

Storyline will focus on the plot, the pacing of the story, character development, major twists & events, and the ending (if the manga is incompleted when reviewed, it will be discounted).

That’s all for today’s post, look forward for more to come!
